Third Class Electric Power Exchange Center established by State Grid Corp. put into use

(China Securities Journal, Sept. 4, 2006) The Third Class Electric Power Exchange Center established by the State Grid Corp. was put into use. With the operation of the center, the State Grid Corp.’s market exchange function will separate from that of its grid dispatch. State Grid Corp. spokesman Wang Min expresses that the move means that the State Grid Corp., regional grid corporations and provincial, autonomous regional or municipal electric companies will set up separate electric power exchange centers.
