| Jiangsu province’s five subjects win fully support in funds from World Bank Group |

(Xinhuanet.com, Sept 6, 2006) The General Office of National Development and Reform Commission promulgated the Notice on Implementing Initial Phase of China Renewable Energy Scale Development Project. According to the notice, US$900,000 will be allocated to the Jiangsu privince’s project to 24,000 kilowatts power generation project. The World Bank Group injected US$10.6m to four pilot provinces, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian and Inner Mongolia as the group’s support to pilot implementation of the Renewable Energy Law.
