Russian coal production grew by 4.8% to 199 mln tons in Jan-Aug |

(ChinaCoalResource, Sept 19, 2006) In January-August 2006, coal production in Russia grew by 4.8% to 199 mln tons against the same period of last year; production of coal concentrate slid by 1.9% to 47.5 mln tons, as the Federal State Statistic Service informs.
Coal production in August 2006 dropped by 1.8% against August 2005, and rose by 3.1% as compared to July 2006. The volume of coal concentrate production dropped by 0.9% in August 2006 against the same period of last year, and grew by 0.8% against July 2006. source:ChinaCoalResource tag:China energy coal |
