(ShanghaiDaily, Sept 19, 2006) HONG Kong Dragon Airlines Ltd said yesterday it flew 517,856 passengers in August - a 15.6 percent jump from the same period last year - as more people traveled during the summer.
The carrier, also known as Dragonair, said the passenger figure was just 0.3 percent lower than the monthly record set in July. Cargo volumes in August increased 1.1 percent from a year earlier and were 8.4 percent higher than in July, the airline said. source:ShanghaiDaily tag:China |
