| Keppel wins S$13.3m contract for waste-to-energy project |

(Channelnewsasia, Sept 28, 2006) SINGAPORE: A unit of Keppel Integrated Engineering has won a S$13.3m contract to provide technologies and services for a waste-to-energy plant in China's Jiangsu province. Keppel Seghers will provide its state-of-the-art equipment design and technical services for the plant. The plant is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2008. It will be able to treat 800 tonnes of waste a day to generate 12 megawatts of green energy. Keppel Seghers is also undertaking waste to energy projects in other Chinese cities, including Changshu, Shenzhen, Tianjin, Jiangyin and Guangzhou.
