China sees 10.5% 2006 GDP growth

(CCTV, Sept 29, 2006) The China Securities Journal has reported on Friday, that the country may still be exposed to inflationary pressure. The paper says the consumer price index is expected to rise by 1.8 percent in the first half of 2007, even as economic growth moderates to 9.5 percent. It has also reported that the economy is expected to grow by 10.5 percent this year, while CPI is about to come in at 1.5 percent.
