Shanxi Province to balance development of coals and non-coal resources |

(Coalinfo.net, Sept 29, 2006) Shanxi Province aims to balance development in coal and non-coal resources, according to Shanxi Province’s latest working meeting on new coal industry. By 2010, investment in non-coal products will account for two thirds of the total in the province, and sales revenue generated in the segment is expected to reach RMB100b. The province plans to reduce its comprehensive energy consumption per unit GDP by 25 per cent during the 11th Five Year Period.
