Inner Mongolia approved to build pumped storage power station

(Powerplants.com, Oct 19, 2006) Approved by the Regional Commission of Development and Reform, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will make an investment more than RMB5.6b to build a pumped storage power station in Hohhot. With a total installed capacity of 1.2m kv., the station will generate 2b kilowatt-hours of electricity annually.
