| CPI to build berths for coals transported from Inner Mongolia |

(Coals.cc, Oct 25, 2006) China Power Investment Corporation (CPI) and the Jinzhou Municipal Government signed an agreement on projects to build berths, local railways and power plants. According to the agreement, the current route of Chifeng, Daban to Baiyinhua railways will be extended to Jinzhou Port, and three 100,000-ton class berths will be built in Jinzhou Port. About 14b tons of coal reserves were identified in Baiyinhua, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
