(Xinhua, Oct 29, 2006) Sources from Henan Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences disclose that the two crop varieties that the academy cultivated for the production of biomass energy enjoy a great potential for industrial development. The three corn varieties with high starch content developed by the academy on its own, Zhengdan 18, 21 and 136, can be used to reduce cost in fuel ethanol Production. Besides, the T057 rapes that cultivated through the technology of dissociative microspores, can effectively solve the problem of enormous costs in biological diesel oil production.
