(Oilnews.com, Ot 30, 2006) The Fujian LNG Overall Project is composed of terminal and trunkline project, three gas-fired power plant projects and five city distribution projects. The project will be constructed by CNOOC-Fujian LNG Co. Ltd, a joint venture between CNOOC Gas & Power and Fujian Investment and Development Company. A total investment of RMB24b will be made in the project. Tangguh gas field in Indonesia is selected as the supplier for the phase I project. Its main pipeline route will go through Fuzhou, Putian, Quanzhou, Xiamen and Zhangzhou.
