Coal export falls at Shandong Port

(Cctd.com, Oct 30, 2006) In the first three quarters of 2006, 6.55m tons of coals, valued up to US$500m, were exported through the Shangdong Port, down 18.3 per cent on 2005, according to statistics released by the Qingdao Customs Office. The coals were mainly exported to Japan and DPRK, and prices of the exported coals increased slightly.
