China invests over RMB80b in coal chemical projects under construction |

(Sohu.com, Oct 30, 2006) A total investment of more than RMB80b was made in coal chemical projects under construction in China, which will contribute to newly-increased capacities of 8.5m tons of carbinol, 900,000 tons of dimethyl ether (DME), 1m tons of alkene and 1.24m tons of coal to liquids (CTL), according to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
