(Coals.cc, Oct 31, 2006) Bao Steel Ltd and Henan Coking Coal Group recently signed a letter of intent on strategic cooperation in the fields of coal mines, power plants, smelting and technologies.

Henan Coking Coal Group, having seven coal mines and other three ones under construction, has an annual capacity of 10m tons. Its sales revenue reached RMB4.06b in 2005. Bao Steel Ltd consumes

about 18m tons of coals annually. In the past two years, Henan Coking Coal Group supplied around 400,000 tons of injection blind coal on an annual basis.
