DuPont China plans launch of corn gasoline |

(Oilnews.com, Nov 28, 2006) DuPont China Holding Company Limited is hopeful to launch corn gasoline within the coming four years. Wang Jianping, general manager of DuPont China Holding Company Limited, said that DuPont had invested more than US$700m in China’s sector of biological technologies and alternative energies, and that the figure was expected to reach US$1.2b in 2010. Besides, he pointed out that as a renewable energy, corns can be used to produce biological fuels, which will greatly help reduce China’s dependence on oils.
