Shandong Province to close coals mines with annual capacity below 30,000 tons |

(Coals.cc, Nov 28, 2006) Shandong Province will close coal mines with annual capacity below 30,000 tons in 2006, those with annual capacity below 60,000 tons in 2007, and those with annual capacity below 90,000 tons in 2008, according to a notice published by the General Office of the Shandong Provincial Government. After completion of the restructuring project, all coal mines are not allowed to have annual capacity below 150,000 tons.
