Nanjing faces 6m-m3 monthly shortfall of natural gas this winter |

(Xhby.net, Dec 21, 2006) Monthly natural gas shortfall is expected to exceed six million cubic meters in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province during the three months of this winter; however, the municipal government promises that gas supply will never be suspended for households, and that natural gas prices will also not rise during the period, according to a new conference held by the Nanjing Municipal Government on Dec. 22, 2006.
As of Nov. 2006, up to 520,000 households, 14 industrial enterprises and 1,800 commercial organizations use natural gas in the city. The city’s natural gas supply will top 300 million cubic meters for the whole year of 2006. source:Xhby.net Drawn from Chinese language press |
