(Sina.com, Dec 21, 2006) Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd (CNOOC Engineering), a subsidiary of China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC), will add an investment of more than one billion yuan in the third phase of Qingdao production base. On Dec. 20, 2006, a contract signing ceremony was held at the Qingdao Economic and Technical Development Zone.

CNOOC Engineering has already made an investment of 1.7 billion yuan in construction of the Qingdao production base, which will become the largest ocean oil and gas equipment manufacturing base in Asia.
