China Gas buys 51pct stakes in Taineng Natural Gas |

(Sohu.com, Dec 21, 2006) China Gas Holdings Ltd. announced on Dec. 18, 2006 that it had signed two contracts to buy the whole stakes in Zhongbao Industry Holding Co., Ltd for 256 million yuan. Zhongbao Industry Holding Co., Ltd controls 51 per cent of stakes in Taineng Natural Gas Co., Ltd ith registered capital of 240 million yuan. In the first nine months of 2006, Taineng Natural Gas Co., Ltd suffered from a loss around 24.11 million yuan. In 2010 demand for natural gas in Qingdao, Shandong Province is expected to reach one billion cubic meters.
