(Cec.org, Dec 30, 2006) On Dec. 26, 2006, the No. 1 machine unit of the 330kv. Jixiang power transformer station went operational, marking the launch of the first 330kv. transformer station of Qinghai Huanghua Grid.

The power transformer station adopted South Korea¡¯s GIS fully enclosed designing for its 330kv. facility and the domestic fully enclosed designing for its 110kv. facility. Occupying an area of 24 mu, the transformer station is composed of two 240,000KVA load voltage transformers.
