(Cec.org, Dec 30, 2006) On Dec. 28, 2006, Shanghai Electric Power Co. Ltd unveiled the No. 3 main transformer of 500kv. Sijing Station. Shanghai Electric Power Co., Ltd managing director Zhou Yongxing and deputy managing director He Xiqiang attended the unveiling ceremony.

In 2006, Shanghai Electric Power Co. Ltd made 18.167 billion yuan of investments in 110 projects under construction and 119 under operation. In 2007 the electric company will kick off construction of three 500kv. transformer stations and three 220kv. underground stations Besides, it will commence construction of 115 projects and put 88 into operation.
