(Chinagas.org, Dec 30, 2006) On Dec. 27, 2006, the Guangdong Province Price Bureau promulgated the Opinion on Pipeline Gas Price Standardization. According to the opinion, Guangdong Province will not allow gas distributors in the province to collect piped gas connection fees when they connect new gas users. Moreover, pipeline gas users that already paid the fees will be granted preferential terms in paying gas prices.
