(Coals.cc, Dec 31, 2006) On Dec. 31, 2006, China Huaneng Group signed an agreement on making investment in the project on the No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 berths of Jingtang Port Area.

China Huaneng Group, Jingtang Port Holdings Co., Ltd and Hebei Province Coal Industry Co. will jointly make 500 million yuan of investment to for a joint venture named Jintanggang Coal Port Co., Ltd. The joint venture¡¯s main business covers coal transportation, loading and related trade services. Its annual handling capacity is expected to reach more than 13 million tons.
