China to build railways connecting Heilongjiang Province’s Dongning and Russia |

(Coals.cc, Dec 31, 2006) On Dec. 30, 2006, China Railways Investment Co. and Harbin Railways Bureau signed an agreement on acquiring stakes in Heilongjiang Railways Group Co., Ltd. The move marks that the project to build railways connect Heilongjiang Province’s Dongning and Russia’s Ussuriysk will win support from the two big state-owned corporations.
After the share acquisition, the Heilongjiang Province State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission will contribute to 289.99 million yuan in the joint venture, accounting for 80.76 per cent of total shares, and the Harbin Railways Bureau 36.29 million yuan, accounting for 10.11 per cent, and China Railways Investment Co. 32.8 million yuan, accounting for 9.13 per cent. source:Coals.cc Drawn from Chinese language press |
